ACCT 510 - Managerial Accounting (3-0-3)

Provides the accounting concepts and techniques related to planning and cost control. It also provide the framework to assess the behavioral dimensions of control systems. Topics include development and uses of accounting data for management decision-making; cost concepts, behavior, and systems; activity-based costing and activity-based management; budgeting, planning and control; pricing decisions, strategy and balanced scorecards, performance measurement and compensation schemes, ethics and management accounting practices.
