Introduction to Python programming language and the ML framework in Python. Structured signal representations, short-time Fourier transform, and sparse signals. Discrete Fourier transform, Wavelet transform, least-squares, compressed sensing, convex optimization, and greedy algorithms for sparse signal reconstruction and denoising. Concepts of real-world problems related to speech, image processing, and medical signal processing, and their solutions.
