Floating-point arithmetic and error analysis. Solution of nonlinear equations. Polynomial interpolation. Numerical integration and differentiation. Data fitting. Matrix factorization. Jacobi, Gauss-Siedel and Conjugate Gradient methods. Eigenvalues and Singular Value Decomposition (SVD). Newton's and Steepest Descent Methods for system of nonlinear equations. Initial and boundary value problems of ordinary differential equations; Using computer software as a computational platform.
