Introduction and awareness of health-related physical fitness components and related physical activity. Assessment of physical fitness components. Introduction to a variety of sports to meet the needs of all the KFUPM students. Advanced knowledge of the rules and regulations and techniques for selected sports (Swimming II, Karate II, Taekwondo II, Basketball II, Aerobics II, Badminton, Squash, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Weight Training, Judo, Futsal, Football, Tennis, Paddle). Participation in 5km run (Movement for All), participation in 5km walk for health, cycling, health related fitness competition and interclass tournaments.
Body Structure: skeletal system. Sports injuries. Physical education rules, tactics and practice of specified sports. Topics related to health education represent 20% of the course. Prerequisite: PE 101
