This department involve fundamental knowledge in the field of biology and other related fields, as well as involve basic research in the field of biology as a multidisciplinary field related to natural, environmental, engineering, biotechnology and biomedical sciences. The department is not offering a BS degree but will rather focus on building collaboration within the University and abroad in the area of research in biotechnology which will serve the strategic choices of the Kingdom. The Department of Bioengineering offers undergraduate biology courses required by several engineering department.
