Its goal is to train students to excel in bioengineering and generate innovations in environmental preservation, sustainability, and societal challenges such as food, energy, and health. The program aims to equip diverse students with the skills to make transformative impacts on global health, sustainability, and equity.

Program Admission Requirements

The general requirements set by the College of Graduate and Interdisciplinary Studies:

The BIOE department applies the following procedure to satisfy its admissions requirements:

  • A B.Sc. or an M.Sc. degree in bioengineering, biomedical engineering, bioinformatics, or closely related engineering or sciences from an institution whose graduate programs are equivalent to those of KFUPM.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.30 on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent for the applicant with a B.Sc. degree.
