Management is a fundamental human activity, and one of the key functions of any business organization. It is the function through which businesses anticipate, create, and communicate value to and manage relationships with stakeholders. The Management program at KBS is designed for students who wish to pursue a wide variety of careers in business organizations. The Management program prepares students to assume leadership roles in business and other types of institutions. The program is designed to develop the student’s ability to think objectively and make sound decisions. This program will teach the student how to become effective as a person and as a managerial leader. The Management program includes Management of Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Cost Accounting, Financial Management, Management Information Systems, Organizational Behavior, Marketing Research, and courses in Quantitative Methods and Research, as well as 28 weeks of practical experience in business organizations. The program keeps up with the most recent developments in the field of management. It places sufficient emphasis on computer applications and quantitative methods. The B.S. in Management program has been offered in KBS for close to 30 years now, and has graduated many students who are now playing significant roles in the management functions of their organizations.
