Vision

The vision of the Architecture & City Design department is to be a leader in the education and research of sustainable, resilient, and smart cities. We will prepare our students to be architects and urban planners who can design and plan cities that are energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and responsive to the needs of the people who live and work in them. We will also research new technologies and methods that can be used to create more sustainable and smart cities.

Mission

• Providing professional development to produce individuals who are ethically responsible, problem solvers, critical thinkers, leaders, and agile.
• Creating innovative solutions through rigorous research addressing social values, existing and evolving needs, as well as technological, economic, and ecological challenges in Saudi Arabia and the region.
